CONSTRUCTION TESTING & INSPECTIONS
Braun Intertec provides quality control construction testing and inspection services during construction to document that system installation conforms with project specifications and industry standards. As a part of our construction testing and inspections services we perform the following:

- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) imaging

Blower door testing.
Building air infiltration testing, commonly called blower door testing, is used in conjunction with infrared thermography to determine current air leakage conditions in a building. We perform blower door testing on many types of buildings such as government and indistutional facilties following the US Army Corps of Engineer requirements for building conditions. We also use blower door testing as a mean of diagnosing other building-related failures.
Window testing services: we provide AAMA certified widow inspection and testing services.
Braun Intertec is accredited by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) to perform laboratory and field window testing services. With our AAMA accreditation, we are well positioned to conveniently provide the window testing services you need either in our lab or at your facility. Our consultants can determine causes of air and water leakage in windows, and provide suggestions to mitigate the problem.
We also work with product designers and manufacturers during product design phases to test window prototypes and new systems. Our laboratory testing involves extensive tests such as structural performance, operating force, pressure equalization and forced entry resistance. We perform the tests in accordance with ASTM and AAMA standards for both new construction and existing buildings.
