At Braun Intertec, we promote a strong corporate sustainability program. We focus on the health and well-being of our employees, the natural environment and our business. We do so by examining our current business practices and determining the many ways we can make positive changes.

Our initiatives include implementing waste reduction throughout the company, reducing our carbon footprint and seeking partners who have the same sustainable goals. Embracing corporate sustainability brings us closer to our goal of becoming your Consultant and Employer of Choice.
Positive changes through Project Sage.
Objectives of Project Sage include examining our current practices and establishing baselines to determine where we can make positive changes. Project Sage encourages waste and energy use reduction programs at our various offices. Some of the program’s successes during the past few years have included retrofitting drill rigs to control emissions through a Minnesota Environmental Initiative called Project Green Fleet, working to decrease our carbon footprint and implementing a more comprehensive recycling program throughout the company.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Program.
Sustainability and energy efficiency are important design considerations for your project. In recent years, the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program has become a symbol of sustainable design and construction practices. A hallmark of LEED is that it not only considers energy efficiency during construction, but also requires continued management of building systems to monitor that energy efficiency is being achieved.
At Braun Intertec, our LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have the experience, knowledge and credentials to guide you through the many aspects of the LEED certification process.
